Teraview on the Web

Posted on: Oct 13, 2017

Please find attached below a correspondence from Jeffrey Lem, Director of Titles for the Province of Ontario, announcing “Teraview on the Web” – a new and improved Teraview web-based application that will eventually replace the current desktop version of Teraview once fully rolled-out across the province.

Roll-out will begin regionally January 8, 2018 and the roll-out plan can be accessed at Teranet’s Teraview website.  Pilot program testing has already begun in the Barrie and Niagara Land Registry Offices.  Mr. Lem is also undertaking a tour of Ontario to speak to local law associations demonstrating New Teraview for local audiences. If your association is interested in hosting a demonstration, let us know and we will connect you with Mr. Lem’s office to coordinate schedules.

Message from the President

By the time you read this message, my predictions that UConn will have won the NCAA Women’s National Championship and Michigan will win the NCAA Men’s National Championship in basketball will have surely come true. These teams will arrive at that pinnacle through team work and extraordinary effort. The Hamilton Law Association is another organization that showcases the outstanding team work and extraordinary effort from its staff and volunteers.

Just since January 2018, Hamilton Law Association staff and volunteers have attended 14 subcommittee meetings and presented 9 seminars and CPD events......READ MORE.

Robert Hooper, President 2017-2018

The Hamilton Law Association

The Association’s affairs are governed by trustees and officers who ensure that Association undertakings are within the mandate and in the best interests of our legal community. The many valued volunteers who are members of the numerous committees within the structure of the HLA strive to represent our membership consistently and effectively. The Anthony Pepe Memorial Law Library, operated within the scope of the HLA, is one of the largest law libraries in Ontario and houses over 30,000 volumes.

The Hamilton Law Association continues to strive to educate and support its membership in the practice of law as well as to advocate for their interests as lawyers...

The staff of the Hamilton Law Association (HLA) Library cannot provide legal advice or research to members of the public directly.
