Precedents are a great resource to add to your toolbox: they can save time, effort, and help reduce risk by ensuring you consider all the relevant factors when drafting legal documents. We will discuss specialized tools available through the HLA Library, as well as free resources available online to locate high-quality precedents.

This session will cover:

  • How to find precedents using HLA Library subscriptions like Lexis Practice Advisor and O’Brien’s Forms Online
  • Strategies to find free precedents online using Google & the LSO’s Access CLE Database
