Job Description:

• Drafting various pleadings and legal memoranda, including Notices of Action, Statements of Claim, Statements of Defence, Notices of Application, Affidavits, Motion Records, Pleadings, Factums.
• Appearing in all levels of Court in Ontario.
• Employ file management strategies to maximize efficiency.
• Interacting with clients, counsel and colleagues of the firm across multiple social platforms.

Required Skill Set:

• Excellent legal research and writing.
• Compliance with the LSO’s reporting, audit, and professional development requirements.
• Compliance with LawPro reporting and insurance application requirements.
• Ability to handle a high volume of work efficiently, with strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated proven ability to work under pressure and prioritize projects.
• Precision, attention to detail, resourceful and adaptable to complex legal issues.
