JUDICIAL APPOINTMENTS ADVISORY COMMITTEE

CHANGE OF PROCESS FOR

FRENCH LANGUAGE ASSESSMENT

Effective immediately, the Judicial Appointments Advisory Committee is implementing a new process for assessing French language ability.  Candidates who identify bilingual ability as indicated on the application form will now be required to undergo standardized French language testing to assess their proficiency.

COMITÉ CONSULTATIF SUR LES NOMINATIONS À LA MAGISTRATURE

MODIFICATION DE LA PROCÉDURE POUR

L’ÉVALUATION DES COMPÉTENCES LINGUISTIQUES EN FRANÇAIS

Le Comité consultatif sur les nominations à la magistrature a établi une nouvelle procédure pour l’évaluation des compétences linguistiques en français. Cette procédure entre en vigueur dès maintenant. Les candidats qui se sont déclarés bilingues comme indiqué dans le formulaire de candidature devront désormais passer un test de français standardisé pour évaluer leur niveau de compétence linguistique.
