    McHugh Ionico Boer LLP is currently seeking a Corporate Law Clerk for a full-time position.  If you are looking to join an established and growing firm, assist a strong team of professionals, and come with direct corporate-commercial experience, especially with preparing Annual General Resolutions and Filing Annual Returns, we are eager to hear from you!

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Review and update minute books
    • Prepare Annual Resolutions and Annual Returns
    • Draft, review and revise legal documentation
    • Correspond with clients, other law firms and accountants
    • Incorporate, amalgamate, dissolve and continue corporations
    • Perform and review a variety of corporate searches
    • Complete security registrations
    • Perform other corporate-commercial filings

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Experience working in a Corporate Law Clerk role
    • Legal administration/law clerk diploma and/or Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario Certificate (or equivalent)
    • Proficiency in the following software: MS Word, Outlook, ActionStep (Soluno), MinuteBox, ECore, ESC, DropboxSign, Microsoft Teams, and Kofax (PDF) is preferred.
