| The Hamilton Law Association |
The Hamilton Law Association was founded in 1879, and today includes over 900 members, including many from outside the Hamilton area. Our mission is to enable our members to become successful, respected and fulfilled in their profession. We accomplish this by offering a wide variety of services and benefits to our members.
Students articling in Hamilton are important members of our Association. They are welcomed and assisted in the use of our excellent research library, which is well-equipped for electronic research. The Association has an extensive calendar of continuing legal education programming, including seminars tailored to meet the needs of students and new lawyers. Our Bar enjoys a high standard of professionalism that encourages excellent legal work in a collegial environment. Hamilton is also a great place to live, work and play. It has an outstanding waterfront trail, many golf courses and a healthy downtown nightlife.
For a full description of all Hamilton has to offer to our students, please download our Articling Brochure.
