    Our Employment/Human Rights Department is looking to hire a full-time legal assistant, who is able to work in a fast-paced, extremely busy environment.

    The ideal individual will have a minimum of 2+ years’ experience in the area of Litigation and knowledge of Human Rights/Employment Law would be an asset.  The ideal candidate should have experience drafting and filing various court documents, dealing with Rules of Civil Procedure, as well as having experience dealing with both employees and employers and/or clients.  The candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, have the ability to streamline processes, manage priorities to ensure all deadlines are met, be able to multi-task, complete work with great accuracy, work independently, follow instructions with minimal supervision, take initiative, and be efficient with time management. 

    The candidate will also possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, telephoning, emailing, answering messages, and other related skills which are necessary to draft correspondence and legal documents, schedule meetings and communicate effectively with clients, lawyers and courts.
