Cook Reynolds LLP is currently looking for a personal injury law clerk.

Duties will include:

• Drafting pleadings, motions, mediation and pre-trial memos
• Opening and closing files
• Preparation of retainer agreements
• Maintaining limitation lists and calendars
• Conducting MTO, corporate and Teranet property searches
• Preparing engagement letters to experts, writing for clinical notes and records and other records

Successful candidate will have:

• 5+ years’ experience in Civil Litigation
• Knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure, Practice Directions, Case Lines, e-Filing procedures
• Knowledge of the Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule and LAT Rules of Practice and Procedure
• Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Possess the ability to complete work with accuracy, manage priorities and ensure that deadlines are met
